After your transfer and your installation at the hotel, depending on the time available, you will start your journey with a visit of Antananarivo, a small tour in the city of the Thousand, to take the pulse of the Malagasy capital.
East coast The circuit begins on National Road No. 2, Cape Andasibe. If the journey lasts 4 hours, you will not see the time pass as the diversity of landscapes and vegetation will captivate you. Here, nature has regained all its rights. Already, the vast expanses of greenery and forests mark a break with the city.
The Ravinala, trees of the traveler, stand in the heart of the vegetation and gently wave their leaves arranged in fan, as if to greet you.
You will quickly become acquainted with the richness of the fauna of this dream island that is Madagascar by visiting the private park Pereyras. Hello friendly lemurs! How pretty you are! How beautiful you seem to me! If Jean de la Fontaine had been able to discover this park where several species of endemic fauna of the country coexist, what fables could he have written in particular by seeing the chameleons who display their nonchalance and indifference to the curiosity of visitors.

Au programme de ce troisième jour de voyage dans la Grande Ile, la visite du parc villageois VOI, à quelques encablures du Parc National d’Andasibe-Mantadia. Dans cette forêt, perchée dans un arbre, vit le Indri-indri, le plus grand des lémuriens. Monogame, le Indri-indri a un sens très poussé de la famille. On peut aussi y rencontrer le Brookesia, le plus petit caméléon de Madagascar. Ce caméléon n’est pas arboricole mais terrestre et présente un fort mimétisme avec son environnement. Autre particularité de cette forêt : elle abrite le scarabée girafe, une espèce qu’on ne trouve qu’à Madagascar. Votre guide touristique vous expliquera sûrement que son nom, sans surprise, lui vient de son long cou.
Le petit tour au village d’Andasibe que vous effectuerez ensuite vous permettra d’avoir une idée des modes de vie de la population locale.
Pendant plus d’une heure ensuite, vous découvrirez la réserve Vakôna, l’îlot aux lémuriens où vous rencontrerez d’autres espèces : le Fulvus, le Lemur bambou, le vari. Ils vous traiteront avec beaucoup d’amitié voire de familiarité en sautant par exemple sur vos épaules. Cette réserve renferme aussi un parc à crocodiles, hormis le « fosa » qui est un prédateur de lémuriens, le boa de Madagascar et des canards sauvages.
Vous passerez la nuit à l’hôtel du Vakôna, bercé par le murmure des feuilles, qu’agite le souffle léger du vent dans un environnement de verdure.
The adventure continues on National Road 2 with your accompanying driver. A junction 10 km from Brickaville will take you to Manambato. You will get to know what a track is in Madagascar before arriving at your destination. For an hour, you will have only done 7 km, which will however give you all leisure to admire nature. On the pier of Manambato, you will take a fast boat for a crossing of 1h30 and 45 km on the Canal des Pangalanes which runs on the east coast of Madagascar.
You will be settled in the hotel where you will spend the night.

The Palmarium private reserve is a must to get to know the lemurs of Madagascar. For 2 hours, you could observe more closely, 7 species of lemurs including indri, Propithèque, Macaco… You could not only approach them but also touch them in this nature populated by several varieties of plants such as Pachypodium, orchids including vanilla, carnivorous plants… You will then fully grasp the true meaning of Madagascar, an island of dreams.
Departure for Tamatave in the early afternoon by fast boat again. Once again, you could admire the Pangalanes canal and soak up the 4 hours that will last the journey of the images of this unforgettable circuit that will have led you to the land of lemurs. Once in Tamatave, you will be moved to the hotel where you will spend the night.
Direction Sainte Marie, a small dream island near the big dream island. Very early departure by road with the cars of the company El Condor to the pier of Mahambo for Sainte Marie. Depending on the state of the road, this adventure trip lasts 2h30 minutes. Once in Mahambo, passengers and their luggage are picked up to be boarded on the boat. After a crossing of 3 to 4 hours, arrival at Sainte Marie where you will be settled in the hotel for the night.
Three days of relaxation and leisure in complete freedom at Sainte Marie. If you are a lover of paradise beaches, you will be served for the idleness of which you have always dreamed. This does not prevent in any way the outings at sea, the underwater dives where you can admire the aquatic bottom, the whale safaris according to the season. On the program of this day, your transfer to Sainte Marie airport where you will fly to Antananarivo, the capital, the main departure point for international flights.
